Sarah, I'm so glad you shared this and the background and inspiration for the poem. The rhyme scheme is very clever - yes, you should coin a rhyme scheme term--the Oyela???--and paints a lovely, quiet picture. Happy (almost!) summer break!

Nice work with the form! It has the feel of one of the Welsh forms, more so because of the scattered internal rhymes.

Mark, that’s interesting. Do you have any examples / links to the Welsh forms that you’re thinking about? Hmmmm, maybe that’s where it’s form name ought to be coined!? 🤔😊
